I am a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, and I have written many songs over the years. I find the process of songwriting to be an incredibly fulfilling creative and spiritual endeavor, a powerful altered state in and of itself. And actually playing and singing these songs is one of the greatest joys in my life.
These songs tend to have a spiritual orientation, and also usually have a hooky chant-like chorus that is easy to learn and join in on, so that they can become the launching pad for group vocal embellishments and improvisations. Many of these songs were inspired by my experiences in the peyote ceremony, and I’ve been blessed to be able to play them in that setting and see them touch groups of people at a deep level. Unfortunately, I do not currently have any high enough quality recordings of these songs that I feel comfortable sharing online, but I am working to set things up to make such recordings and, as they become available, I will post them to my SoundCloud page and have the link here.
